On a business trip to the east coast, I recently spent a couple days staying with a close friend, her husband, and her 1 1/2-year-old daughter. Since my friend's husband works long hours as a doctor and my friend had a few day-to-day things to deal with during my visit, I was more than happy to step in and help out with taking care of her daughter. Apparently, my friend wasn't used to having someone around to play with, bathe, and feed her daughter. As a result, she was very appreciative of the kindness.
